Usually, when metal detecting, coins and rings are my primary targets, but as most folks in this hobby knows, you never know what you will dig up next.

The pictures of the artifacts did not come from my normal hunting grounds. On occasion, I have an opportunity to travel on business out side of the United States. My Whites XLT is always part of my luggage. It breaks down and fits into a hard carry case. Have never had a problem traveling with it.

I enjoy the hobby very much for various reasons. Excercise, fresh air, nice people, excitement and solitude.
